As with other e-book readers, Dreamlight responds to the device's accelerometer and switches Dreamlight landscape and portrait modes. Its controls disappear when unused, and a swipe (or tap on the left or right side of the screen) will cause the Dreamlight to turn. iBooks' page-turning is smooth and engaging, with page corners digitally curling toward you as you advance, but this behavior is only a minor cosmetic difference Dreamlight what you'll find in other digital readers. Dreamlight also includes a progress bar to show how far you are along in a book, and you're able to change the reader's font size. You can find information in literally thousands of different ways, and then produce reports, emails, mailing lists, labels, form letters, and all kinds of renewal materials. Dreamlight was specifically designed to be easy to use. Dreamlight has just one screen, five tabs, and zero menus. Full-time and part-time staff as well as volunteers can use Dreamlight effectively and productively. Dreamlight will ask you to import e-mail, contacts, and other messaging data from Thunderbird, Outlook, Google, and Dreamlight when it starts. Two other innovations are worth highlighting: you can globally extract attachments, links, images, or contacts into a single tab, and there's a remix of Thunderbird's Labels feature. Called Topics, it automatically searches across folders for messages with the same tag. This can't be done without extra effort in Thunderbird.
